How does this work?
Personify Care allows multiple people to share a single mobile number or email address. Each person will have their own separate pathway and you need only make note of which person created their account first when setting up.
Before you start - decide who registers first
This is important. Before opening any invitation links, agree between yourselves:
Person 1 (primary) - registers first, using the option "For myself"
Person 2 (second account) - registers second, using the option "On behalf of someone else"
Step 1 - Person 1 registers (For myself)
Person 1 (primary) opens their invitation link and:
Selects "For myself" when asked who they are registering for
Creates a password and accepts the Terms of Service, then taps Register
Fills in their own personal details and completes registration
See Creating and activating your account for the full registration steps.
Step 2 - Person 2 registers (On behalf of someone else)
Person 2 opens their invitation link and:
Selects "On behalf of someone else" when asked who they are registering for
Enters the password created earlier and accepts the Terms of Service, then taps Register
Fills in their personal details as prompted and completes registration
See How to register on behalf of someone else for the full steps.
Switching between accounts
Once both accounts are set up, both will be accessible from the home screen. Tap the Switch Pathway button to move between them.
Each person's activities and information remain separated - only the phone number or email address and password is shared.
Frequently asked questions
Does it matter which person registers first?
Yes. Person 1 must register using "For myself" before Person 2 registers. If both try to use "For myself", there may be a conflict. Agree on the order before you start.
Only one person received an invitation. Can the other person still register?
Each person needs their own invitation from the healthcare provider. Contact your hospital or clinic and ask them to send an invitation to the shared phone number or email address for the second person.
Can more than two people share the same number?
Yes, if you are registering for more than two people you can do this all under the same account using the “On behalf of another person” option a second time.
I can't see the other person's account after logging in.
Make sure both registrations have been completed. Then use the Switch Pathway button on the home screen. If one account doesn't appear, contact your healthcare provider to check that both invitations have been set up correctly.
