Steps
Tap "Use date of birth" on the login screen
Enter your mobile phone number - no spaces, dashes, brackets, or other symbols
Enter your date of birth
If the reCAPTCHA shows up, complete the related steps
Tap Submit
A confirmation code will be sent to your mobile phone via SMS, it may take a few moments. Enter the code into the Code field
Tap Submit
You should now be logged in.
Logging in for a child or someone in your care
If you registered on behalf of someone else (for example, a child or family member), enter:
The mobile phone number used during registration (this may be your own)
Your own date of birth
If that doesn't work, try the other person’s date of birth instead. Depending on how your account was set up, either may be accepted.

Frequently asked questions
I didn't receive a confirmation code
Check that your phone has signal. The code is sent via SMS and usually arrives within a minute. If it hasn't arrived, tap the "tap here" link, but wait at least one minute before trying again. If you still don't receive it, contact us via the chat button.
The confirmation code isn't working
Codes expire after a short time. If too much time has passed, request a new code and enter it promptly.
I can see the date of birth option but it keeps saying my details are wrong
Make sure you are using the same mobile number you registered with, and that the date of birth is entered correctly (day, month, year). If you registered on behalf of someone else, use that person's date of birth, not your own.
I don't see a date of birth login option
This option may not be enabled for your account. Try logging in with your password, or follow our Password reset article if you've forgotten it.
