What are 'activities'?

Learn about the different activity types in your pathways

Updated over a week ago

Activities are essentially the separate 'steps' in your digital patient pathway.

There are multiple types of activities: Information, Assessment, Payment, Consents, etc. These are represented in the pathway timeline with various dot colours (red, purple, green). These activities are scheduled in relation to important dates (black square).

Below: An example of a pathway which contains both assessment and information activity types.

An information activity allows you to send discrete pieces of information to your patients. This may include things like a welcome to your clinic, instructions on where to find the hospital, or information about their healthcare rights as a consumer. Images, videos and links to external content can be added to information activities to make the content more engaging for patients.

Once the information is added as an activity, you are able to schedule when the patient receives it, design the notification to prompt them to log in, and create alerts in response to the patient either completing or not completing this activity.

An assessment activity allows you to add an existing assessment item to your pathway.

Once the assessment is added as an activity, you are able to schedule when the patient receives it, design the notification to prompt them to log in and complete this activity, and create alerts (completing / not completing this activity or flag patients' clinical needs)
